Those with ASD often have difficulties with social communication and interaction, emotional and behavioral regulation, sensory processing, and restricted or repetitive behaviors or interests. However, the abilities of children with autism can vary significantly, for instance some may have advanced conversational skills whereas others may be nonverbal. People with ASD may also have different ways of learning, moving, or paying attention.
